New Measures for Border Enforcement (24)

On 11 January, 2022, “New Measures for Border Enforcement (24)” was announced in Japan.
 
Under this measure, new entry of foreign nationals into Japan is not allowed until the end of February 2022.
 
Also, the Government of Japan has decided to allow the re-entry into Japan of foreign nationals with status of residence who have stayed the countries; Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia or Zimbabwe, within 14 days prior to the application for landing as from 0:00 (JST) on 12 January, 2022.
