静岡市、掛川市がモーリシャスオリンピック委員会と覚書締結

2020年1月23日、静岡市、掛川市一行がモーリシャスを訪れ、モーリシャスオリンピック委員会（MNOC）と2020年東京オリンピックホストタウンに関する覚書を締結しました。覚書締結式はモーリシャス共和国青少年エンパワーメント・スポーツ・レクレーション省トゥッサン大臣と在モーリシャス日本国大使館加藤義治大使の立ち会いの下、モーリシャスオリンピック委員会本部（トリアノン）にて行われました。
この覚書締結により、モーリシャスオリンピック選手団は静岡市及び掛川市において事前合宿を実施し、また合宿期間中に選手と静岡、掛川の両市民との交流が行われます。
覚書締結式の後、一行はトレーニング施設を訪れ、オリンピックの代表候補選手を激励しました。
On 23rd January, the delegation from Shizuoka and Kakegawa cities and Mauritius National Olympic Committee(MNOC) concluded a memorandum of understanding on the host town. The signing ceremony was held in the presence of The Hon. Jean Christophe Stephan TOUSSAINT, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Recreation and His Excellency. KATO Yoshiharu, Ambassador of Japan to Mauritius.
With this agreement, MNOC will hold a training camp within Shizuoka and Kakegawa cities prior to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and exchange events to interact with residents of both cities will be organized.
The delegation also visited training facilities and encouraged some candidates for the Mauritian Olympic delegation.
