第2回日本大使杯 極真空手トーナメントの開催（2018年7月22日）/ 2ND OPEN KYOKUSHINKAI AMBASSADOR OF JAPAN CUP (July 22, 2018)

当館は2018年7月22日（日）にポートルイス市内のRenganaden Seenevassen SSS 体育館にて、ポートルイス市、モーリシャス極真空手連盟とともに、日本大使杯を開催しました。
全国大会である本大会には13のカテゴリーで男女104名の選手が参加し、優勝を争いました。
今回は20年以上の歴史のある極真空手トーナメント初の試みとして、日本から選手として将口祐太氏（初段）が参加され、フリーの部でモーリシャス不動のチャンピオンを破り見事優勝されました。
大会の中盤には、新極真会の山田一仁師範（3段）による型の披露、バット折りなどのデモンストレーションが行われました。
表彰式では加藤大使、ポートルイス市長たちより入賞者へ、トロフィー、賞状、記念品が贈呈されました。
The Embassy of Japan in Mauritius, the Council of Port-Louis and the Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation of Mauritius held the 2nd Open Kyokushinkai Ambassador of Japan Cup on the 22nd of July 2018 at the Renganaden Seenevassen SSS.
We had 104 competitors in 13 categories in this tournament. For the first time, in the 20 years of existence of this tournament, a Japanese fighter, Mr. Yuta SHOGUCHI was invited to participate in this competition. He defeated the Mauritian champion and won the championship.
Shihan Mr. Kazuhito YAMADA, who was the supervisor for this tournament, gave a special demonstration of Karate in the interval of the tournament.
Ambassador Kato, Mr. Laurent, the Lord Mayor and the chief guests awarded the trophies, certificates and gifts to the higher-ranking winners in the prize-giving ceremony.
