第19回極真空手トーナメント「日本大使杯」の開催（2017年8月20日）/ 19th Kyokushinkai National Knockdown Tournament held to contest for Kyokushinkai Ambassador of Japan Cup (August 20, 2017)

当館は8月20日にポートルイス市内のFrance Martin Stadiumにて、ポートルイス市、モーリシャス極真会空手協会（KMAF）とともに、「第19回極真会空手トーナメント 「日本大使杯」」を開催しました。
全国大会である本大会には、モーリシャス国内だけでなく南アフリカ、インド、イギリス、インドネシアからも選手が参加し、12のカテゴリーで男女104名の選手が優勝を競いました。

19th Kyokushinkai Nationail Knockdown Tournament contesting for Kyokushinkai Ambassador of Japan Cup, organised by the Municipal Council of Port Louis in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan in Mauritius and the Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation (Mauritius), took place at France Martin Stadium, Les Salines at Port Louis on Sunday 20 August 2017.
The 104 fighters, men and women altogether coming from South Africa, India, United Kingdom and Indonesia, as well as Mauritius competed in 12 categories.

大会の中盤には、全世界空手道連盟新極真会の小井泰三師範による型の披露、板割り、バット折りなどのデモンストレーションが行われました。

In the middle of the tournament, a special demonstration was performed by Mr. Yasukazu Koi, Shihan of the WKO SHINKYOKUSHINKAI of Japan.

表彰式では加藤大使、空手協会ジーワ会長たちより入賞者へ、トロフィー、賞状、賞品が贈呈されました。

For the prize giving ceremony, winners were given trophies, award certificates and prizes by Ambassador Kato, Mr Jeewa, President of KMAF and others.
