2019 Spring Conferment of Decoration Mr. Georges Li Ying Pin

On May 21st, 2019 (Japan Time), the Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the 2019 Spring Imperial Decorations. Mr. Georges Li Ying Pin is among this year’s foreign recipients and, in recognition of his contributions towards strengthening the relationship in the field of trade between Japan and Mauritius, he will receive the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays.

MAJOR TITLE: President of All Mauritius Karate Federation (AMKF)

As the first president of the Federation that is now known as the All Mauritius Karate Federation (AMKF), he recognized the importance of Japan as partner. Also, Mr. Georges Li Ying Pin has been a strong proponent of Karate and other Japanese martial arts in Mauritius. Mr. Georges Li Ying Pin is 7th Dan of Joshinmon Karate and coached many Gold Medal winners in various international competitions since 1980.
