Visa Information
Mauritian nationals are not required to obtain visa for short-term stay up to 90 days for tourism, business, etc. that does not include remunerative activities.
A stay during which Mauritian nationals perform remunerative work in Japan or a stay of over 90 days in Japan need to obtain a visa.

Application
Visa application for the residents of Mauritius is handled at the Embassy of Japan in Madagascar.
Prior to submitting an application to the Embassy in Madagascar, all documents must be verified by the Embassy in Mauritius.
