The launching Ceremony of the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Flu Clinic

On 27 October, Ambassador KAWAGUCHI attended the launch of the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Flu Clinic in the presence of The Hon Dr Kailesh JAGUTPAL, Minister of Health and Wellness, The Hon Mr Darsanand BALGOBIN, Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation and Ms Amanda SERUMAGA, Resident Representative of UNDP Mauritius at Victoria Hospital. The LIMS and Flu Clinic were introduced by Japanese funding through UNDP.

In his address, the Ambassador stressed that Japan tried to mobilize funds for its partners such as Mauritius to better assist them in their attempt to enhance their health sectors. Also, he pointed out that the LIMS contributes to improving the laboratory productivity and efficiency in both public and private health service in Mauritius.
