Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship for 2023

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarship programmes to Mauritian students who wish to study in Japan as Undergraduate StudentsSpecialized Training College Students and Research Students (Masters/Ph.D/Research – for either regular students or non-regular students).

Submission of the application
Submitting applications by hand or Email is not acceptable. The deadline for application to reach the Embassy is by Friday, 17 June 2022.

*Successful candidate will be invited for examinations at the Embassy of Japan in the week of 27 June 2022.


Important Notes
・Submitted documents will not be returned.
 
・A copy of the graduation certificate or the degree certificate is acceptable if the copy is attested by an authorized official of the university. (Do not submit the originals as the submitted documents will not be returned.)
 
・If you don’t submit any documents required (e.g. a copy academic transcript/graduation/degree certificate attested by an authorized official), your application will be ineligible to be screened.
 
・The persons who wish to apply for the scholarship shall read the Guidelines attentively and submit the application documents by the closing date.
 
・The forms for the MEXT scholarship must be fully filled as directed in the Guideline. Incomplete application forms shall be deemed invalid.
