New Measures for Border Enforcement (29)

Based on the New Measures for Border Enforcement(29), foreign nationals newly entering Japan for a short-term stay for tourism (only when a travel agency among others organizing he trip serves as the receiving organization of the entrants) will be allowed to enter Japan as from 10 June 2022.
However, this measure will be limited to those who will enter from the countries/regions of the group “Blue” designed in New Measures for Border Enforcement (28).
Mauritius is categorized as the group “Yellow” (as at 26 may 2022).
In addition, currently all foreign nationals who wish to newly enter Japan need to apply for a visa except for those with re-entry permit.
