Handover ceremony of the pickup truck to the Republic of Mauritius

On 19 January 2024, Ambassador KAWAGUCHI attended the handover ceremony of one pickup truck held at NCG Headquarters in Port Louis.
Japan provided grant assistance of 300 million Japanese Yen to strengthen Mauritius’s maritime security capacity through the "Economic and Social Development Programme”. Under this programme, the National Coast Guard of Mauritius is now equipped with one Toyota Pickup in addition to six Yamaha high speed boats donated in 2023.
