Participation in the Workshop on “Coral Reef and its Associated Biodiversity Under Climate Change”

On 9 September 2024, Ambassador KAN participated in a workshop on “Coral Reef and its Associated Biodiversity Under Climate Change”, co-hosted by Sunlife Ltd and the University of Mauritius. He discussed with participants about the best ways to conserve, protect and manage Mauritius' coral reefs in response to global warming, and exchanging opinions thereafter.
This workshop forms part of the research being carried out by Shizuoka University and the University of Mauritius, with the support of the MOL Mauritius International Fund for Natural Environment Recovery and Sustainability, in an effort to address the country's environmental challenges.
