Handover Ceremony of Medical Equipment at the Trust Fund for Specialised Medical Care Cardiac Centre

  On May 8, Mr KAN Masahiro, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Mauritius, together with Honourable Anil Kumar Bachoo, Minister of Health and Wellness, attended the handover ceremony of medical equipment to the Trust Fund for Specialised Medical Care Cardiac Centre.
  In September 2022, the Government of Japan provided grant assistance of 550 million Japanese Yen under the FY2022 Economic and Social Development Plan to strengthen and improve the medical service capacity of the regional hospitals of the Republic of Mauritius. As part of this cooperation, the latest Japanese medical equipment such as ultrasound scanner for echocardiography, ventilators, bedside monitors, among others, have been provided. This cooperation is expected to contribute to effective medical service for the people of Mauritius.
