Convocation Ceremony of the Open University of Mauritius

On 10th of June 2025, Mr KAN Masahiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mauritius, had the honour to attend the Convocation ceremony of the Open University of Mauritius as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the graduates who proudly received their certificates in the presence of their families, friends and professors.
Ambassador KAN delivered a strong message to around 250 graduates and invited them to ponder to harness their talents, powers and knowledge not only for themselves but for the others who cannot enjoy blessed environments over their future path, and to remain humble by doing the best in learning throughout their whole life journey. He also mentioned about the scholarships Japan provides each year to Mauritian nationals and highlighted the strong relationship both countries share in terms of educational and cultural exchanges and technological collaboration.
