Courtesy call on the Honorable GRANDCOURT Chief Commissioner of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly

On 26 November, Ambassador KAN paid a courtesy call on the Honorable GRANDCOURT Chief Commissioner of the Rodrigues Regional Assembly. The Chief Commissioner expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Government of Japan (GGP). During the meeting with the Chief Commissioner, both side agreed that Rodrigues Island is crucial for Mauritius's maritime security and marine environmental conservation. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continue working closely together to further accelerate the strengthening of friendly relations between Mauritius and Japan, including Rodrigues Island.
