KMAF Belt and Certificate Award Ceremony

On 30th November, 2025, His Excellency Masahiro KAN, Ambassador of Japan to Mauritius attended the Belt and Certificate Award Ceremony held by the Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation (KMAF) at the National Judo Centre in Beau-Bassin.
This ceremony was made in the presence of the Honorable Minister of Land and Transport, M. Osman C. Mahomed and Ambassador KAN, as well as members of the KMAF and their families. Black belts were rewarded to eleven practioners, following the training held in July 2025, by the Shihaan IRIKI Takehisa, 7th Dan instructor of the World Karate Organization (WKO).
In his speech, Ambassador KAN addressed the members of the KMAF, stating that the path chosen by the karate practioners is not only about physical strength but also about becoming better individuals. He congratulated them for having taken up the challenges of the special training and encouraged them to continue to do their best.
