The Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation training under Sensei MURAYAMA Tsutomu, 4th Dan

On 26th of July, 2026, Mr. KAN Masahiro, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Mauritius, attended a special training session conducted by Sensei MURAYAMA Tsutomu, a 4th Dan instructor of the World Karate Organization (WKO), for members of the Kyokushinkai Martial Arts Federation (KMAF). The training was held at the Pandit Sahadeo Sports complex in Vacoas.
In his remarks, Ambassador KAN encouraged KMAF members to take full advantage of this unique opportunity to learn from the visiting Japanese karate master. Ambassador KAN also shared how karate training during his university days, contributed to his personal development, in terms of discipline and character.
Sensei MURAYAMA Tsutomu, a former world champion and the current Branch Chief of the Kyoto South Branch, also supervised the advanced grading examinations for KMAF members during his visit this week.
